ABCT ( A Better Chinatown Tomorrow) has planned a hands-on making Jiaozi (dumplings) and Tang Yuan (a small round mochi ball). a New Year’s Eve tradition to welcome the New Year. Everyone is welcome, learn to making your own and eat it!

Wilma Pang will work for Quality schools, incentives for families to stay in SF, adequate childcare for working parents, assistance to small business owners, and artists.

COMMUNITY: Founder, and co-chair of ABCT (A Better Chinatown Tomorrow), a community based organization formed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of Chinatown, and North Beach.

ADMINISTRATOR: One of six nationwide Ethnic Arts Field Officers in Australia in 1983, a model now used worldwide to programming cultural events of different ethnicities.

SMALL BUSINESS OWNER: She works closely with SF Visitors Bureau, tour companies, and artists to showcase cultural events to visitors, and locals.

PROFESSOR: She taught ESL, and Music at City College of SF for over 30 years.

PARENT: Raised three daughters in SF, they graduated from public schools, and universities.
Wilma Pang has lectured, and performed in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Schooling: Undergraduate: Conservatory of Music, majored in voice. BA, MA: Music Education, San Francisco State University.

Language: Fluent in English, Chinese, knowledge of French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese.
